Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Brad grew up in Hammond, Louisiana and graduated from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 1988. In 1992, Brad earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1997, he received his Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University where he served as Articles Editor of the Louisiana Law Review and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi.
Brad Felder is an AV-rated attorney admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and all Louisiana state courts. He is a member of the Louisiana State, the United States Fifth Circuit, Federal and Lafayette Parish Bar Associations. Brad is a Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation, is a member of the John M. Duhe' Inn of Court, has served on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and on the Louisiana Leadership Council for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). Brad has been recognized numerous times by the Lafayette Parish Bar Association and Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers as a Champion of Justice for his pro bono service in the Lafayette community has been the recipient of the Century Award presented by the Louisiana Supreme Court for his service to the indigent on several occasions.
Brad is married to the former Julie Koren Vaughn. They have a daughter, Koren, and reside in Lafayette, Louisiana.
