Kristen Comeaux

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Kristen grew up in the then "small town" of Youngsville, Louisiana. From a young age, she was determined to become a lawyer and had a strong work ethic which led her to excel in school. After graduating from Comeaux High School, Kristen attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she majored in Business Finance. While studying business, Kristen served as a secretary on the ULL Law Society eboard where she helped students learn more about the law school experience and what it takes to become a lawyer. She also was a part of the UL Honors Program. In 2017, she was awarded the opportunity to join the National Society of Leadership and Success. While at ULL, Kristen also became a licensed realtor in 2018. As a realtor she gained knowledge by learning negotiating skills, drafting contracts, and assisting her clients with the process of buying and selling both commercial and residential real estate. After graduating from ULL in 2020, Kristen was determined to attend graduate school and decided to work towards her juris doctorate. Kristen attended the Southern University Law Center and received her juris doctorate in May of 2023. In 2024, Kristen became a qualified family law mediator through the Loyola University Law School.

Following her admission to practice law in 2023, Kristen worked as a staff attorney for the Honorable Susan Theall in the 15th Judicial District Court where she handled and worked to solve many issues of family law. These issues include custody, child support, relocation, community property, etc. Kristen also worked as a law clerk for various local law firms, who's practice areas include: personal injury, real estate transactions, and defense work. Through her diverse knowledge and background, Kristen has obtained significant skills to effectively advocate for her clients.

Kristen is a member of the Realtor Association of Acadiana, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Lafayette Bar Association.
